The Lancer Systems L5AWM magazine is a modern hybrid magazine with magazine lips made of hardened steel and a molded high-strength polymer body. The body is resistant to impacts, shocks, chemicals, high and low temperatures, and exceeds military requirements. The hardened steel magazine lips do not bend or break and are resistant to fatigue when stored loaded for extended periods. The spring made of stainless steel allows for storage in a loaded state without loss of spring force, while the follower is designed to prevent binding.
The transparent material allows for a quick overview of the magazine's loading status - this visually distinguishes the AWM from the competition.

Das Lancer Systems L5AWM Magazine ist ein modernes Hybrid-Magazin mit Magazinlippen aus gehärtetem Stahl und einem angegossenen hochfesten Polymerkorpus. Der Korpus ist resistent gegen Schläge, Stöße, Chemikalien, hohe und niedrige Temperaturen und übertrifft die militärischen Anforderungen. Die Magazinlippen aus gehärtetem Stahl verbiegen und brechen nicht und sind resistent gegen Ermüdung bei längerer Lagerung im geladenen Zustand. Die Feder aus rostträgen Stahl erlaubt eine Lagerung im geladenen Zustand ohne Einbußen und nachlassen der Federkraft, während der Zubringer so designt ist, dass er nicht verkantet.
Das transparente Material erlaubt einen schnellen Überblick über den Ladezustand des Magazines - dadurch hebt sich das AWM optisch von der Konkurrenz ab.
