The Magpul DT (double tension) Carbine Stock for Mil-Spec buffer tubes is a drop-in stock with the best features of the CTR & SL stocks and the new double tension technology, which minimizes the play of the adjustable-length stock.
The DT stock is designed as a stable A-frame, made from the same high-strength polymer that you know and expect from Magpul. The stock cap is non-slip and combines the dimensions of the SL stock cap with the optimized shape of the CTR stocks. Rifle slings can be threaded through the classic 1.25" (approx. 3.2cm) wide eyelet or attached using QD eyelets at the integrated QD socket with rotation stop.
The core feature of the stock is the "dual tension" technique, which consists of the classic locking mechanism using a bolt and an automatic clamping - both are released with the ambidextrous and protected locking levers located within the frame. This double tension ensures that the stock sits much more securely on the buffer tube - for a more stable and secure shooting position.
The stock can be complemented with the CTR cheek riser.

Der Magpul DT (double tension) Carbine Stock für Mil-Spec Buffertubes ist ein drop-in Schubschaft mit den Besten Eigenschaften der CTR & SL-Schäfte und der neuen double tension Technologie, welche das Spiel des längenverstellbaren Schaftes minimiert.
Der DT-Schaft ist als stabiler A-Rahmen ausgeführt, gefertigt aus dem gleichen hochfesten Polymer welches man von Magpul kennt und gewohnt ist. Die Schaftkappe ist rutschfest und verbindet die Maße der SL-Schaftkappe mit der optimierten Form der CTR-Schäfte. Gewehrriemen können durch die klassische 1,25" (ca. 3,2cm) breite Öse gefädelt werden oder mithilfe von QD-Ösen an der integrierten QD-Aufnahme mit Rotationsstopp befestigt werden.
Das namensgebende Kernstück des Schaftes ist die "dual tension" Technik, welche aus der klassischen Arretierung mittels Bolzen und einer automatischen Klemmung besteht - beide werden mit den beidseitig bedienbaren und geschützt im Rahmen liegenden Arretierungshebel gelöst. Durch diese doppelte Verspannung sitz der Schaft deutlich spielfreier auf der Buffer Tube - für einen stabileren und sicheren Anschlag.
Der Schaft kann um die CTR-Wangenauflage ergänzt werden.
