The Hornady .338 Lapua Magnum with 285gr ELD-Match bullet is a sophisticated competition cartridge for long-range shooting. The ELD (Extremely Low Drag Match) from HORNADY are technologically advanced competition bullets with improved accuracy. Thanks to the newly developed Heat-Shield bullet tips, they avoid aerodynamic heating and resist early deformation, achieving outstanding precision. The ELD bullets have one of the highest ballistic coefficients in their class, superior accuracy, and extreme consistency from shot to shot, from lot to lot. The .338 Lapua Magnum was inherently designed as a precision cartridge, providing the bullet with the energy and speed to fully utilize its potential. The approximately 18.47g heavy bullet is accelerated from a 24" standard barrel to nearly 840m/s and has a ballistic coefficient (G1) of 0.789.
Now available as a "savings pack" - 140 rounds each packed in 20-round increments in the well-known steel box. The box is reusable, for the sustainable shooter.
