The M2A1 Ammunition Can is an iconic and popular metal box that is not only used for storing ammunition but also finds many applications in leisure activities. Officially designated as "Box, Metal, M2A1," the original purpose of this box, introduced in the 1950s, was to store 100 rounds of belted .50 BMG ammunition. Since this load can weigh almost 20kg, the box is designed to be very sturdy and features many attributes that assist in the long-term storage of ammunition as well as the storage and transport of other objects. Made from painted steel sheet, the box is highly durable, stackable, and features a stable, foldable carrying handle. The lid is equipped with a rubber seal - the box closes airtight and waterproof!
The lid is easily removable when open - this is a feature, not a bug - and cannot be locked when closed! The boxes have no printing and are unused new products.

Since 1928, ammunition has been produced here for military, authorities, and civilian users, and today the portfolio includes more than 400 types of ammunition manufactured by over 1,000 employees in three production facilities. In this country, PPU is primarily known for producing otherwise extinct calibers for hunting and sporting use and a product range with a good price/performance ratio. The manufacturing facilities are ISO certified.

Die M2A1 Ammunition Can ist eine inzwischen ikonische und beliebte Metallkiste welche nicht nur zur Aufbewahrung für Munition genutzt wird sondern auch im Freizeitbereich viele Anwendungen findet. Offiziell bezeichnet als "Box, Metal, M2A1" ist der ursprüngliche Einsatzzweck dieser in den 50er Jahren eingeführten Kiste die Aufbewahrtug von 100 Schuss gegurter .50 BMG Munition. Das diese Ladung ein Gewicht von fast 20kg aufweisen kann, ist die Kiste sehr stabil ausgeführt und verfügt über viele features, die der langfristigen Lagerung von Munition ebenso helfen wie der Aufbewahrung und dem Transport von anderen Objekten. Gefertigt aus lackierten Stahlblech, ist die Kiste stark belastbar, stapelbar und verfügt über einen stabilen, faltbaren Tragegriff. Der Deckel ist mit einer Gummidichtung ausgestattet - die Kiste schließt damit luft- und wasserdicht ab!
Der Deckel ist im geöffneten Zustand leicht abnehmbar - das ist ein feature, kein bug - und kann im geschlossenen Zustand NICHT versperrt werden! Die Kisten verfügen über keinerlei Aufdruck und sind unbenutzte Neuware.
