The PPU blank cartridge in caliber .223 Remington is a high-quality ammunition for military, law enforcement, or civilian use. Made from brass with boxer primer, it meets modern standards, and the manufacturing is done according to military standards as a blank cartridge. It is also suitable for use in customs, reenactment, and film and television shoots, as well as for use in dog training or shooting practice.
Loaders and tools that use such ammunition are rather uncommon in this country, but this also counts towards the wide range of applications for these cartridges without a projectile. The M200 A1 (NATO standard) is a blank cartridge in caliber .223 Remington in the "long" version, meaning this version has the shape of a loaded cartridge with a projectile - optimized for use in semi-automatics.

This is regulated ammunition, meaning a firearms ownership license (WBK) with the corresponding ammunition acquisition or a hunting license is required! In semi-automatic weapons, there is no self-loading function with this ammunition without a corresponding "blank firing device" or "blank firing adapter."

Gefertigt aus Messing mit Boxerzündung entspricht sie modernen Standards, die Fertigung erfolgt nach militärischen Standards als Manöverpatrone. Geeignet ist sie auch für die Nutzung im Brauchtum, Reenactment und bei Film- und Fernsehaufnahmen sowie die Nutzung bei der Hundeausbildung oder dem Schießtraining.
Ladungswerfer und Werkzeuge, die solche Munition nutzen sind hierzulande eher unüblich aber auch das zählt zu dem weiten Einsatzbereich dieser Patronen ohne Geschoss.
