About the brand: Gateway1® derives its name from the pioneering days of the USA, when frontiersmen, fur trappers, and adventurers often referred to the first landing spot at the first crossing of the great rivers as "Gateway One." These hubs were crucial for survival in the next season. The name is meant to reflect the functionality of the shoes under the harshest conditions in nature. The bison was chosen as the logo, often referred to as a buffalo and depicted in Native American style - a symbol of strength and survival under the most adverse conditions.
Gateway1® has utilized its Danish and Scandinavian background to implement functionality in design and detail. All boots are tested before leaving the factory and crafted according to proud craftsmanship traditions.
