The new KAHLES Helia 42 RF – SIMPLE – ERGONOMIC – RELIABLE
The leading HELIA 42 Rangefinder RF combines brilliant optics with reliable distance measurement up to 1,500 m on relevant targets (game, trees, etc.). It impresses with easy operation and hunting-relevant functions such as scan mode and patented EAC function for angle correction.
With the new Helia 42 RF, KAHLES presents the optimized successor to the successful Helia RF. The further developed distance measurement technology now allows for accurate measurements on hunting-relevant targets up to 1,500 meters – a 50% increase compared to its predecessor.
The lens technology of the Helia Rangefinder binoculars enables bright images with high detail sharpness and natural contrast. The simple intuitive operation/menu navigation allows for the display/switching of the now patented KAHLES EAC function for angle correction, the Long-Range (LR) function for measuring simple targets up to 4,500 meters, and additionally the display of ambient temperature and air pressure. The scan mode, which allows for continuous measurement on moving targets, complements the high-quality clear OLED display, which now offers an even more precise aiming point for targeting.
To achieve the most precise hits at angle shots, in addition to the standard distance measurement (linear), the even more accurate and patented KAHLES EAC function (Enhanced Angle Compensation) – based on the classic Rifleman’s Rule – can be calculated and displayed. While the Rifleman’s Rule only determines the purely mathematical horizontal distance, the EAC function provides a ballistically relevant basis.
The five manually adjustable illumination levels, which can be set without extra menu access, offer the quickest and fixed adjustment of the display to the given lighting conditions (prevents unwanted/automatic switching). Energy management has also been refined, now providing a longer battery life of approximately 4,000 measurements.
To ensure that observing and measuring support each other ideally, the ergonomically thought-out arrangement of the function buttons and the light pressure point of the rangefinder function are ensured. The device's armoring and various controls have been practically designed and, together with the waterproof and durable aluminum housing, provide the best protection in the most adverse conditions and a pleasant, non-slip feel.

Das führige HELIA 42 Rangefinder RF vereint brillante Optik mit zuverlässiger Distanzmessung bis 1.500 m auf relevante Ziele (Schalenwild, Baum, etc.). Es besticht durch einfache Bedienung und jagdlich relevante Funktionen wie Scan Modus und patentierter EAC-Funktion zur Winkelkorrektur.
Mit dem neuen Helia 42 RF präsentiert KAHLES den optimierten Nachfolger des erfolgreichen Helia RF. Die weiter entwickelte Entfernungs-Messtechnologie ermöglicht nun genaue Messungen auf jagdlich relevante Ziele bis zu 1.500 Meter – ein Plus von 50% – im direkten Vergleich zum Vorgänger.
Die Linsentechnologie der Helia Rangefinder Ferngläser ermöglicht helle Abbildungen mit hoher Detailschärfe und natürlichem Kontrast. Die einfach-intuitive Bedienung/Menüführung ermöglicht das Einblenden/Umschalten der mittlerweile patentierten KAHLES EAC-Funktion zur Winkelkorrektur, der Long-Range (LR) Funktion zur Messung einfacher Ziele bis 4.500 Meter und zusätzlich auch die Anzeige von Umgebungstemperatur und Luftdruck. Der Scan Modus, der ein kontinuierliches Messen auf sich bewegende Ziele ermöglicht, kompletiert neben dem hochwertigen klaren OLED-Display, welches nun eine noch präzisere Zielmarke zum Anvisieren der Ziele bietet, den jagdlich relevanten Funktionsumfang.
Um präziseste Treffer bei Winkelschüssen zu landen, kann neben der Standard-Entfernungsmessung (linear), die noch genauere und patentierte KAHLES EAC-Funktion (Enhanced Angle Compensation) – basierend auf der klassischen Rifleman’s Rule – berechnet und angezeigt werden. Während bei der Rifleman’s Rule lediglich die rein mathematische ebenengleiche Distanz ermittelt wird, stellt die EAC-Funktion eine ballistisch relevantere Basis bereit.
Die fünf manuell – und ohne extra Menüzugriff – einfach einstellbaren Beleuchtungsstufen, bieten eine schnellstmögliche und fixierte Anpassung des Displays an die gegebenen Lichtverhältnisse (verhindert ungewolltes/automatisches Umstellen). Auch das Energiemanagement wurde verfeinert und bietet nun eine längere Batterielebensdauer von ~ 4.000 Messungen.
Damit sich Beobachten und gleichzeitiges Messen gegenseitig ideal unterstützen, wird durch die ergonomisch durchdachte Anordnung der Funktionsknöpfe und dem leichten Druckpunkt der Rangefinder-Funktion sichergestellt. Die Armierung des Geräts und die verschiedenen Bedienelemente wurden praxisgerecht ausgelegt und bieten zusammen mit dem wasserdichten und widerstandsfähigen Aluminiumgehäuse besten Schutz bei widrigsten Verhältnissen und eine angenehme, rutschfeste Haptik.
