With the Hunter 4G Mini LTE-SIM wildlife camera, the Franconian company Modernhunter offers a powerful wildlife camera, where the transfer is extraordinarily cost-effective. The camera is also powerful and equipped with an app that features AI detection of wildlife. This allows you to keep an eye on the area around the clock.
The Camera
Thanks to PIR Fresnel sensor technology, the Hunter 4G Mini reacts in less than 0.45 seconds, ensuring that no movement goes undocumented. With a field of view of 60° and a range of approximately 25 m, the camera covers a large area in the territory. The 16:9 recording format is equally suited for display on mobile devices. The highest resolution of the images is 3072×1728 px, the video format is 1920×1080 px, and video recording is done with sound. The operating times of the camera can be individually set. When the internal memory – a 32 GB SD card is included – is full, the oldest recordings are automatically overwritten. There is the option to store data for free in the Modernhunter cloud. The wildlife camera is equipped with energy-saving adaptive flash management, ensuring homogeneous illumination without overexposure. Night vision is achieved with 54 No-Glow LEDs with a wavelength of 940 nm.
The Device
The Hunter 4G Mini camera is robust, waterproof according to IP66, extremely compact, and features a camouflage pattern, making it well concealed in the forest. It can be easily attached to a post or tree with the included strap. The wildlife camera operates on 8 AA batteries. Optionally, the Hunter 4G Mini can be powered by a solar panel, external battery pack, or external power supply. The external power sources are not included in the delivery.
The App
The Hunter 4G Mini wildlife camera fully unfolds its potential with the Modernhunter app. Through it, the camera can be conveniently configured and controlled. When the camera is in setup mode and the QR code has been scanned with the app, the connection is established. The app is open to all types and is therefore compatible with most commercially available wildlife cameras. The transfer of images from the camera to the app is done using the included 4G SIM card at a very low price per photo or video. The data can be transferred in original size or in smaller thumbnail formats. The app is equipped with AI that reliably identifies the captured objects, whether they are wildlife, humans, or vehicles.

Mit einem Sichtfeld von 60° und einer Reichweite von circa 25 m deckt die Kamera einen großen Bereich im Revier ab. Das Aufnahmeformat von 16:9 wird dem ebenso gerecht wie der Darstellung auf den mobilen Endgeräten. Die größte Auflösung der Bilder beträgt 3072×1728 px, das Videoformat ist 1920×1080 px, die Videoaufzeichnung erfolgt mit Ton. Die Einsatzzeiten der Kamera können individuell festgelegt werden. Wenn der interne Speicher – eine 32-GB-SD-Karte wird mitgeliefert – voll ist, werden die ältesten Aufnahmen automatisch überschrieben. Es besteht die Möglichkeit, die Daten kostenlos in der Modernhunter-Cloud zu speichern. Die Wildkamera ist mit einem energiesparenden adaptiven Blitzmanagement ausgestattet. Das gewährleistet eine homogene Ausleuchtung ohne Überbelichtung. Die Nachtsicht erfolgt mit 54 No-Glow-LEDs mit einer Wellenlänge von 940 nm.
Das Gerät
Die Hunter 4G Mini-Kamera ist robust, wasserdicht nach IP66, äußerst kompakt und mit einem Camouflage-Muster versehen, wodurch sie im Wald gut getarnt ist. Sie kann mit dem mitgelieferten Gurt leicht an einem Pfahl oder Baum befestigt werden. Die Wildkamera wird mit 8 AA-Akkus betrieben. Optional besteht die Möglichkeit, die Hunter 4G Mini per Solarpanel, externem Akkupack oder externer Stromversorgung zu betreiben. Die externen Stromquellen sind nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten.
Die App
Ihr volles Potential entfaltet die die Hunter 4G Mini-Wildkamera mit der Modernhunter-App. Mittels ihr kann die Kamera bequem konfiguriert und gesteuert werden. Wenn die Kamera sich im Setup-Modus befindet und mit der App der QR-Code gescannt wurde, ist die Verbindung hergestellt. Die App ist typenoffen und daher mit den meisten marktüblichen Wildkameras kompatibel. Der Transfer der Bilder von der Kamera zur App erfolgt mittels der mitgelieferten 4G-Simkarte zu einem äußerst günstigen Preis pro Foto bzw. Video. Die Daten können in Originalgröße oder in kleineren Thumbnail-Formaten übertragen werden. Die App ist mit einer KI ausgestattet, die zuverlässig die aufgenommenen Objekte identifiziert, seien es Wildtiere, Menschen oder Fahrzeuge.
