If our fluffy Huber jackets made of raised loden are too warm for you, you will love our new Raudi! For this new jacket, we use a smooth fabric loden and have given it an even more comfortable cut!
In contrast to loden fleece, the fabric loden differs mainly in its thinner, less fluffy material thickness. It is slightly less warm, but particularly wind-resistant, as the nap (the felted surfaces on both sides) lies very close to the fabric. Due to the extremely good climate properties of loden, the jacket is very well suited for a wide temperature range. Whether hiking, trekking, or simply in leisure time, it keeps you warm and balances the body temperature inside by absorbing moisture, providing good breathability, and offering good wind resistance. The material provides enough insulation in many situations without the need for an additional layer on top. Only when it gets really cold does it require support from the outside in the form of another jacket. From spring to autumn, the Raudi is in its element.
Wool is a renewable raw material and biodegradable. As a pure natural fiber, it does not remain in the ecosystem and therefore does not cause any harm. Our loden is produced in Germany, which means it is not only fairly produced but also meets the highest quality standards. That it complies with the Ökotex 100 standard is a matter of course.
Our Loden is made from 100% pure virgin wool, is breathable, warming, and very robust. The natural product Loden requires little maintenance: odors disappear in fresh air, and dirt can be allowed to dry and then brushed out. What makes our Loden particularly special are its climate properties. The dense weaving of the Loden and the fine nap on the surface make the jacket almost resistant to wind penetration – and all without a membrane! And precisely because we do not need to install a membrane, the Loden remains very breathable and ensures an optimal indoor climate.
The jacket has a comfortable cut and provides sufficient freedom of movement, making it particularly pleasant to wear during sports activities or outdoor pursuits. The fit is somewhat narrower than our Huber variants. Since the raglan cut has proven itself in our Pedalist cycling jackets, we have also used it in our Raudi. A raglan sleeve is a special cut for sleeves, where the sleeve part extends not only to the shoulder but also directly to the neckline. The seam runs diagonally from the armpit area to the collar, instead of ending directly at the shoulder edge like a classic sleeve. Since there is no fixed shoulder seam, the raglan sleeve adapts better to different body types and makes the cut particularly comfortable.
The sleeves have, as is customary for an outdoor jacket, a bit of extra length and are adjusted with the Velcro closure at the cuff so that they do not slip down too far.

In addition to the body measurement, each garment – depending on the cut and purpose – has an ease allowance that allows for a comfortable fit. When you add this allowance to your body measurement, you get the approximate circumference of the garment.
An example: Body chest circumference 100 cm, ease allowance 10 cm results in a jacket chest circumference of approximately 110 cm. Deviations may occur due to manufacturing.

Wem unsere flauschigen Huber-Jacken aus aufgebauschtem Loden zu warm sind, der wird unsere neue Raudi lieben! Für diese neue Jacke verwenden wir einen glatten Tuchloden und haben ihr einen noch bequemeren Schnitt verpasst!
Im Gegensatz zum Lodenfleece unterscheidet sich der Tuchloden vor allem durch eine dünnere, weniger flauschige Materialstärke. Er ist etwas weniger warm, dafür aber besonders windabweisend, da der Flor (die beidseitig verfilzten Obeflächen) sehr dicht auf dem Gewebe anliegt. Durch die extrem guten Klimaeigenschaften des Lodens ist die Jacke sehr gut für ein weites Temperaturspektrum geeignet. Beim Wandern, Trekking oder einfach in der Freizeit hält sie warm und gleicht die Körpertemperatur im Inneren durch Aufnahme von Feuchtigkeit, eine gute Atmungsaktivität und einen guten Windwiderstand aus. Das Material bietet in vielen Situationen genug Isolation, ohne dass eine weitere Schicht darüber nötig wird. Erst wenn es richtig kalt wird, braucht es Unterstützung von außen in Form einer weiteren Jacke. Vom Frühling bis in den Herbst ist die Raudi in ihrem Element.
Wolle ist ein nachwachsender Rohstoff und biologisch abbaubar. Sie verbleibt als reine Naturfaser nicht im Ökosystem und richtet dort somit auch keinen Schaden an. Unser Loden wird in Deutschland hergestellt und ist somit nicht nur fair produziert, sondern entspricht auch höchsten Qualitätsstandards. Daß er den Richtlinien der Ökotex 100 Norm entspricht, ist eine Selbstverständlichkeit.
Unser Loden wird aus 100% reiner Schurwolle gefertigt, ist atmungsaktiv, wärmend und sehr robust. Das Naturprodukt Loden benötigt nicht viel Pflege: Gerüche verschwinden an der frischen Luft und Verschmutzungen läßt man trocknen und bürstet sie dann raus. Was unseren Loden aber ganz besonders macht, sind seine Klimaeigenschaften. Die dichte Webung des Lodens und der feine Flor auf der Oberfläche machen die Jacke nahezu resistent gegen das Eindringen von Wind – und das ganz ohne Membrane! Und genau deshalb, weil wir keine Membrane verbauen müssen, bleibt der Loden auch noch sehr atmungsaktiv und sorgt für ein optimales Innenklima.
Die Jacke hat einen bequemen Schnitt und bringt ausreichende Bewegungsfreiheit mit, so daß sie besonders während sportlicher Betätigung oder Outdoor-Aktivitäten angenehm zu tragen ist. Die Passform fällt eher etwas schmaler als unsere Huber-Varianten aus. Da sich der Raglan-Schnitt schon bei unseren Pedalist-Fahrradjacken bewährt hat, haben wir diesen auch bei unserer Raudi eingesetzt. Ein Raglanärmel ist eine spezielle Schnittform für Ärmel, bei der das Ärmelteil nicht nur an der Schulter, sondern auch direkt bis zum Halsansatz reicht. Die Naht verläuft dabei schräg vom Achselbereich bis zum Kragen, anstatt, wie bei einem klassischen Ärmel, direkt an der Schulterkante zu enden. Da es keine feste Schulternaht gibt, passt sich der Raglanärmel besser den verschiedenen Körpertypen an und macht den Schnitt besonders bequem.
Die Ärmel haben, wie es sich für eine Outdoorjacke gehört, eher etwas Überlänge und werden durch den Klettverschluss am Bündchen so eingestellt, daß sie nicht zu weit herunter rutschen.
Größenangaben in cm. Körpermaße bitte, mit einem locker anliegenden Maßband, jeweils an der weitesten Stelle der Körperpartie messen.
Bitte beachten: Die Ärmellänge wird inklusive Schulter und Manschette gemessen, da es sich um einen Raglanschnitt handelt.

Zusätzlich zum am Körper gemessenen Maß hat jedes Kleidungsstück – je nach Schnitt und Einsatzzweck – eine Bequemlichkeitszugabe, die ein angenehmes Tragegefühl ermöglicht. Wenn Sie diese Zugabe auf Ihr Körpermaß addieren, haben Sie den ungefähren Umfang des Kleidungsstücks.
Ein Beispiel: Brustumfang Körper 100 cm, Bequemlichkeitszugabe 10 cm ergibt einen Brustumfang der Jacke von ca. 110 cm. Abweichungen sind verarbeitungsbedingt möglich.
