The Savage Revel DLX is a modern underlever repeater from the manufacturer in Massachusetts. Made with modern materials and manufacturing methods and also featuring a modern look - in contrast to the Classic - the Revel offers the shooter a reliable small-caliber rifle for sporting use or hunting. The DLX also has a muzzle thread of 1/2"x28. The Revel features a take-down system, meaning the weapon can be quickly disassembled into two parts without tools, for easy transport or space-saving storage.
The system operates smoothly, but the trigger is dry, the magazine is a classic tube magazine and is loaded from the front, and the safety is also a classic push-button safety above the trigger. As standard, the underlever repeater is delivered with an adjustable rear sight/front sight, the housing is prepared for optics mounting, and the cocking lever is enlarged so that it can be easily operated with gloves. The fore-end and buttstock are made of walnut and feature a pistol grip and a rubber butt pad, as well as a modern look and "stippling" on the grip.

Die Savage Revel DLX ist ein moderner Unterhebelrepetierer des Herstellers aus Massachusetts. Gefertigt mit modernen Materialien und Fertigungsmethoden und auch einem modernen Look - im Gegensatz zur Classic - bietet die Revel dem Schützen ein zuverlässiges Kleinkalibergewehr für den sportlichen Einsatz oder die Jagdausübung. Die DLX verfügt auch über ein Mündungsgewinde 1/2"x28. Es handelt sich bei der Revel um ein Take-Down System, d.h. die Waffe kann ohne Werkzeuge schnell in Zwei Teile zerlegt werden, zum leichten Transport oder platzsparender Aufbewahrung.
Das System läuft butterweich aber dafür steht der Abzug trocken, das Magazin ist ein klassisches Röhrenmagazin und wird von vorne geladen und die Sicherung ist ebenfalls eine klassische Druckknopfsicherung über dem Abzug. Als Standard wird der Unterhebelrepetierer mit einer verstellbaren Kimme/Korn Visierung ausgeliefert, das Gehäuse ist vorbereitet zur Optikmontage und der Repetierhebel ist vergrößert, damit er auch problemlos mit Handschuhen bedient werden kann. Vorder- und Hinterschaft bestehen aus Walnussholz und verfügen über einen Pistolengriff und eine Gummischaftkappe, sowie eine moderne Optik und "Stippling" am Griff.
