Lock Plate

The patented locking system consists of a plate that seals the
barrel base perfectly. The shooting pressure is contained within the
plate/barrel base and reduces the load on the
rotating bolts. The steel lock of the 828 U has a long
service life and guarantees the release of the mechanical stress on the
receiver.

The cryogenic barrel Power Bore with selected bore and extremely

Cryo System

In cryogenic technologies, the barrel is paramount. The expansions caused by friction heat and pressure remain within limits here. This allows the barrel to vibrate evenly and expand at the moment of the shot. The shot pattern achieved with the cryogenic barrel is larger, more uniform, and consistent, with a center that does not shift as the number of shots increases, which benefits shooting accuracy. The cryogenic treatment also positively affects the service life of the barrel, making it more wear-resistant and resilient to combustion residues. Benelli was the first company to apply cryogenic treatment on an industrial scale to the barrel and choke of lightweight firearms to enhance ballistic performance.

Steel Shot

Each barrel engraved with the lily trademark is tested on a national test bench for compatibility with steel shot. The chokes specifically designed with extended transition cones Crio Steel Shot guarantee maximum ballistic performance and resistance to the steel ammunition used.
