Introduction to the Walther PDP Compact V2
The Walther PDP Compact V2 with new optics mounting platform impresses with its distinctive exterior and innovative features. This pistol not only offers an appealing design but also outstanding functionality. With a barrel length of 127 mm (5") and a polygonal barrel, it ensures precise shots.
Ergonomic Design and Grip
The deep loading grooves on the front and back of the slide guarantee a secure loading process in any weather. The newly designed grip with pyramid-shaped texture (Performance Duty Texture) significantly improves handling. The grip backs available in various sizes (S, M, L) are also equipped with this texture. They are not too sharp to cause pain during high series, yet aggressive enough to ensure perfect grip at all times. The contoured shape at the end of the grip provides support for the little finger and aids in intuitive pointing.
Optics Mounting Platform and Sights
All models of the PDP series are equipped with a dual-sided slide catch lever, a reversible magazine button, and an optics ready feature. The new optics mounting platform is characterized by the modified cut-out for the mounting plate, which is 2 mm longer than before and allows for the mounting of all common red dot sights. The standard sights are adjustable for height and windage, and additional practical accessories can be attached to the Picatinny rail. The sights are also co-witness capable.
Trigger and Shooting Behavior
The trigger of the Walther PDP Compact V2, referred to as the Performance Duty Trigger, breaks at the pressure point like glass with a trigger weight of 25 N and a trigger travel of 7 mm. The short reset allows for consistent top performance from shot to shot. These features create the conditions for controlled hitting and safe trigger control in any situation. The pistol has several safeties, including a chamber status indicator, a trigger safety, a firing pin safety, and a disconnect.
The interplay of perfected grip angle, total weight of 740 g, weight distribution, and balance leads to excellent pointing behavior. Einführung in die Walther PDP Compact V2
Die Walther PDP Compact V2 mit neuer Optik-Montageplattform besticht durch ihr markantes Äußeres und innovative Features. Diese Pistole bietet nicht nur ein ansprechendes Design, sondern auch eine herausragende Funktionalität. Mit einer Lauflänge von 127 mm (5") und einem Polygonlauf sorgt sie für präzise Schüsse.
Ergonomisches Design und Grip
Die tiefe Durchladerillen an Vorder- und Rückseite des Verschlusses garantieren einen sicheren Ladevorgang bei jeder Witterung. Das neu gestaltete Griffstück mit pyramidenförmiger Textur (Performance Duty Texture) verbessert das Handling erheblich. Die in verschiedenen Größen (S, M, L) erhältlichen Griffrücken sind ebenfalls mit dieser Textur versehen. Sie sind nicht zu scharf, um bei hohen Serien Schmerzen zu verursachen, jedoch aggressiv genug, um jederzeit perfekten Grip zu gewährleisten. Die ausgeschwungene Formgebung am Griffende gibt dem kleinen Finger Halt und unterstützt beim intuitiven Deuten.
Optik-Montageplattform und Visierung
Alle Modelle der PDP-Serie sind mit einem beidseitigen Verschlussfanghebel, einem umsteckbaren Magazinknopf und einer Optics Ready-Funktion ausgestattet. Die neue Optik-Montageplattform zeichnet sich durch den geänderten Cut-Out für die Montageplatte aus, der um 2 mm länger ist als bisher und die Montage aller gängigen Rotpunktvisiere ermöglicht. Die serienmäßige Visierung ist in Höhe und Seite justierbar und an der Picatinny-Schiene kann weiteres praktisches Zubehör angebracht werden. Die Visierung ist zudem Co-Witness-fähig.

Der Abzug der Walther PDP Compact V2, der als Performance Duty Trigger bezeichnet wird, bricht am Druckpunkt wie Glas mit einem Abzugsgewicht von 25 N und einem Abzugsweg von 7 mm.
