The FNX .45 is the result of years of innovative product development and advanced construction techniques. The FNX .45, developed after the model of the service pistol FNP .45 introduced in 2007 as part of the U.S. Joint Combat Pistol Program, is a traditional double-action/single-action pistol with significantly improved ergonomics. The manual safety and decocking lever, slide stop lever, and magazine release button are easy to operate for both right- and left-handed users from any shooting position. Both the slide and barrel are made of stainless steel. The polymer frame of the FNX .45 features interchangeable backstraps with checkering and lanyard holes. (Show description in original language)

Die nach dem Vorbild der 2007 im Rahmen des U.S. Joint Combat Pistol Program eingeführten Dienstpistole FNP .45 entwickelte FNX .45 ist eine eine traditionelle Double-Action-/ Single-Action-Pistole und erheblich verbesserter Ergonomie. Die manuellen Sicherungs- und Entspannhebel, der Schlittenfanghebel und der Magazinhalteknopf sind sowohl für Rechts – wie Linkshänder und aus jeder Schussposition heraus beidseitig einfach zu bedienen. Sowohl Schlitten als auch Lauf sind aus rostträgen Edelstahl gefertigt. Der Polymerrahmen der FNX .45 verfügt über austauschbare Griffrücken mit Fischhaut und Ösen für Fangriemen.
