Quick Access to the Water Bottle on the Go

The bag made of waxed cotton is lined with pocket fabric on the inside and has a drawstring at the top opening, which is closed with a cord stopper. Thanks to the genuine leather loop attached to the back, the bottle pouch can be easily attached to almost any belt and combined with other Modulustäschchen. This way, in addition to smaller gear, the water bottle is always within reach and does not need to be taken out of the backpack first.

Which bottles fit in the bag?

Almost all drinking bottles that make sense on the belt also fit inside. Smaller 500 ml bottles usually disappear completely into the bottle bag, while slightly larger ones with 700, 800 ml, or even 1 L stick out from the opening with the neck of the bottle. Here, the drawstring is simply closed around the neck of the bottle. Even a classic 1 L PET bottle and even a 1.5 L PET sparkling water bottle fit, but this raises the question of the practicality of carrying 1-1.5 kg of water on your belt. A common question is about the 1 L Nalgene® bottles. Yes, they fit in as well, but as snugly as in a wetsuit, making them difficult to get out again. In our opinion, this makes little sense, not least for the reasons mentioned earlier: Who wants to attach 1-1.5 kg of water to their belt? The bottle holder is perfect for "normal" formats such as a Nalgene® Everyday with 700 ml, a Klean Kanteen with 500 or 800 ml, or the good old 0.6 L or 1 L SIGG® aluminum bottle. If you want to be sure whether your bottle fits in the bag, the easiest way is to measure the circumference. Anything that does not exceed 28 cm fits well; at 29 cm, the pain threshold is definitively reached. Heights of about 18 cm disappear completely into the bag, while larger models stick out towards the opening (see pictures).

Unterwegs die Trinkflasche schnell zur Hand

Der Beutel aus gewachster Baumwolle ist innen mit Taschenfutter ausgeschlagen und hat an der oben liegenden Öffnung einen Kordelzug, der durch einen Kordelstopper geschlossen wird. Durch die rückseitig angebrachte Schlaufe aus echtem Leder, lässt sich die Flaschentasche auf so ziemlich jeden Gürtel aufziehen und mit den anderen Modulustäschchen kombinieren. So ist neben kleinerer Ausrüstung auch die Trinkflasche stets griffbereit und muss nicht erst aus dem Rucksack geholt werden.

Welche Flaschen passen in den Beutel?

Fast alle Trinkflaschen, die am Gürtel Sinn machen, passen auch rein. Kleinere 500 ml-Flaschen verschwinden meist komplett im Flaschenbeutel, während etwas größere mit 700, 800 ml oder gar 1 L mit dem Flaschenhals oben aus der Öffnung ragen. Hier wird der Kordelzug einfach um den Hals der Flasche geschlossen. Selbst eine klassische 1l PET Flasche und sogar eine 1,5l-PET-Sprudelflasche passt, allerdings stellt sich heir die Frage nach der Sinnhaftigkeit, 1-1,5 kg Wasser am Gürtel zu transportieren. Eine häufige Frage ist die nach den 1l Nalgene®-Flaschen. Ja, die passen auch rein aber so eng wie in einem Neoprenanzug, so dass man sie kaum wieder herausbekommt. Das macht unserer Meinung nach wenig Sinn, nicht zuletzt aber auch aus den zuvor genanten Gründen: Wer will schon 1-1,5 kg Wasser am Gürtel festmachen? Perfekt ist der Trinkflaschenhalter dagegen für "normale" Formate wie z.B. eine Nalgene® Everyday mit 700 ml, eine Klean Kanteen mit 500 oder 800 ml oder die gute alte 0,6l oder 1l SIGG®-Aluflasche. Wenn man sicher gehen möchte, ob die eigene Flasche in den Beutel passt, ist es das einfachste, den Umfang zu messen. Alles, was 28 cm nicht überschreitet, passt gut, bei 29 ist die Schmerzgrenze dann endgültig erreicht. Höhen bis ca. 18 cm verschwinden komplett im Beutel, größere Modelle schauen zur Öffnung heraus (siehe Bilder).
