Tracking strap or towline in 10 m length for training, education, and tracking work with the hunting dog.
The leash is made of simple webbing. We deliberately omitted a hand loop at this length to minimize the risk of hang-ups during tracking work and to allow the strap to glide freely through grass and underbrush. The end of the strap is simply folded over and sewn to prevent fraying. The carabiner is sewn with a trim of fatty nubuck leather and additionally pressed with a rivet.

The carabiner, made of solid brass and produced using sand casting, has a relatively delicate size due to its material-related stability. Solid brass carabiners are very stable and much more load-bearing than inexpensive alternatives made from injection molding. Additionally, they quickly lose their golden shine and develop a particularly valuable-looking matte patina within a few days.

Die Leine ist aus einfach gelegtem Gurtband gefertigt. Auf eine Handschlaufe haben wir bei dieser Länge bewusst verzichtet, damit die Gefahr von Hängern bei der Schweißarbeit minimiert wird und der Riemen ungehindert durch Gras und Dickung gleiten kann. Das Ende des Riemens ist lediglich umgeschlagen und vernäht, um ein Ausfransen zu verhindern. Der Karabiner ist mit einem Besatz aus Fettnubukleder vernäht und zusätzlich mit einer Niete verpresst.

Der Karabiner aus massivem Messing, im Sandgussverfahren hergestellt, kommt aufgrund seiner materiell bedingten Stabilität mit einer recht filigranen Größe aus. Vollmessing-Karabiner sind sehr stabil und viel belastbarer als preiswerte Alternativen aus Spritzguß. Außerdem legen sie in kurzer Zeit ihren goldenen Glanz ab und erhalten innerhalb weniger Tage eine besonders wertig anmutende, matte Patina.
