Adjustable Leash or Shoulder Leash "Schlendrian", Length 250 cm

The leash or shoulder leash is the all-purpose tool for dog training, daily walks, and also work in the field, making it the most important tool for the dog handler.

It has a total length of approximately 250 cm and can be adjusted to various overall lengths using the two brass rings in combination with the snap hooks. The two rings are positioned at different distances from the snap hooks at the ends of the leash, allowing for lengths of approximately 150, 180, 195, and 215 cm, depending on the combination, and correspondingly different hand and shoulder loop circumferences of approximately 35, 55, 105, and 145 cm.

The shoulder leash "Schlendrian" is made from double-layered, sewn webbing. The ends, each with a snap hook attached, as well as the attachments for the brass rings, are reinforced with oiled nubuck leather, sewn, and additionally secured with rivets to achieve maximum stability. The transition to the leash is sewn with a leather patch made of oiled nubuck leather and additionally secured with a stabilizing rivet.

The snap hooks, as well as the rings, are made of solid brass and are produced using sand casting. Solid brass snap hooks are very stable and much more load-bearing than inexpensive alternatives made from injection molding, which is why they can also perform their duty safely in significantly more delicate sizes. They will lose their sometimes still present shine in a short time and will develop a particularly high-quality matte brass patina within a few days.

Die Führleine oder Umhängeleine ist das Allroundwerkzeug für die Hundeausbildung, den täglichen Spaziergang und auch die Arbeit im Revier und somit das wichtigste Werkzeug des Hundeführers.

Sie hat eine Gesamtlänge von ca. 250 cm und lässt sich durch die zwei Messingringe in Kombination mit den Karabinerhaken auf verschiedenen Gesamtmaße einstellen. Die beiden Ringe liegen in unterschiedlichen Abständen zu den Karabinern an den Leinenenden und erlauben so – je nach Kombination – Längen von ca. 150, 180, 195 und 215 cm und entsprechend unterschiedliche Hand- und Umhängeschlaufenumfängen von ca. 35, 55, 105 und 145 cm.

Die Umhängeleine "Schlendrian" ist aus doppelt gelegtem, vernähtem Gurtband gefertigt. Die Enden, an den jeweils ein Karbiner befestigt ist, sowie die Halterungen der Messingringe sind mit Fettnubukleder verstärkt, vernäht und zusätzlich mit Nieten gesichert, um größtmögliche Stabilität zu gewinnen. Der Übergang zur Leine ist mit einem Lederbesatz aus Fettnubukleder vernäht und einer stabilisierenden Niete zusätzlich gesichert.

Die Karabiner, wie auch die Ringe bestehen aus massivem Messing und sind im Sandgussverfahren hergestellt. Vollmessing-Karabiner sind sehr stabil und viel belastbarer als preiswerte Alternativen aus Spritzguß, weshalb sie auch in deutlich filigraneren Größen sicher Ihren Dienst tun. Sie legen in kurzer Zeit ihren manchmal noch vorhandenen Glanz ab und erhalten innerhalb weniger Tage eine besonders wertig anmutende, matte Messing-Patina.
