The B&T APC223 PRO Sport is a variant of the large APC family and is sport-approved depending on the variant.
APC stands for "Advanced Police Carbine" and refers to a series of weapons that still use 54% of the same parts across different variants, ranging from compact handguns in 9mm Luger to DMRs in .308 Winchester. All weapons in the family share the arrangement of controls, which are completely ambidextrous - safety, bolt catch lever, magazine release lever, and charging handle are easily reachable and operable. The charging handles fold in when not in use. All APC carbines feature a hydraulic buffer that is part of the stock attachment. This component is found in every caliber and stock configuration and provides significantly improved shooting behavior compared to normally sprung weapons. Additionally, especially in larger calibers, it massively increases the lifespan of the weapon and its parts, and accessories and optics are subjected to less stress during firing.
Equipped with a handguard that features M-LOK interfaces on the sides and a Picatinny rail at 6 o'clock (in the current modified NAR profile), and thanks to a completely continuous Picatinny rail at 12 o'clock.
The sport-approved variants ONLY have the 12 o'clock Picatinny rail! The APC is available in civilian calibers 9mm, .40 S&W, 10mm Auto, .45 ACP, .223 Rem., .300 BLK, and .308 Winchester. All models are available with 4 different stocks, but these are partially fixed depending on the version to ensure that the carbines do not lose their long gun characteristics.

Please note:
B&T AG currently uses the NAR, the NATO Accessory Rail, which is a modified version of the well-known Picatinny rail with improved repeat accuracy and tolerance. For the user, the NAR is fully compatible with Picatinny. All APC, SRC & GHM models can accommodate AR15 triggers, but functionality cannot be guaranteed!
Each APC223 uses a standard AR15 magazine and is delivered with 2 magazines (10 rounds), an adjustable folding sight, a carrying strap, cleaning accessories, and in a suitable case.

Die B&T APC223 PRO Sport ist eine Variante der großen APC-Familie und je nach Variante sportlich zugelassen.
APC steht für "Advanced Police Carbine" und bezeichnet eine Reihe von Waffen, welche in den unterschiedlichen Varianten immer noch zu 54% die gleichen Teile verwenden und von kompakten Kurzwaffen in 9mm Luger bis hin zum DMR in .308 Winchester reichen. Allen Waffen der Familie ist die Anordnung der Bedienelemente gemein, die komplett beidseitig angeordnet sind - Sicherung, Verschlussfanghebel, Magazinlösehebel und Durchladehebel lassen sich einfach erreichen und bedienen. Die Durchladehebel klappen bei Nichtgebrauch ein. Alle APC-Karabiner verfügen über einen hydraulischen Puffer, der Teil der Schaftbefestigung ist. Dieses Bauteil findet sich bei jedem Kaliber und jeder Schaftkonfiguration und sorgt für ein deutlich verbessertes Schussverhalten im Vergleich zu normal gefederten Waffen. Außerdem wird dadurch, vor allem in den großen Kalibern, die Lebensdauer der Waffe und Ihrer Teile massiv erhöht und Anbauteile und Optiken werden beim Schuss weniger belastet.
Ausgestattet mit einem Handschutz der seitlich M-LOK Schnittstellen und auf 6 Uhr eine Picatinnyschiene (in dem aktuellen, modifizierten NAR-Profil) aufweist und dank dem auf 12 Uhr ein komplett durchgehende Picatinnyschiene zur Verfügung steht.
Die sportlich zugelassenen Varianten verfügen NUR über die 12 Uhr Picatinnyschiene! Die APC ist zivil in den Kalibern 9mm, .40 S&W, 10mm Auto, .45 ACP, .223 Rem., .300 BLK und .308 Winchester verfügbar. Alle Modelle sind mit 4 verschiedenen Schäften erhältlich, allerdings sind diese je nach Ausführung teilweise fixiert, damit die Karabiner ihre Langwaffeneigenschaft nicht verlieren.
