With the thermal imaging device Wild 650D, you are truly prepared for any hunting situation, whether in the forest, where a large field of view is advantageous, or in open terrain and fields, where good magnifications are required. The Wild 650 D has a F0.9 lens for both scenarios, one with a 25 mm and one with a 50 mm diameter. The 12 µm sensor has a detection range of 1,300 m (25 mm) and 2,600 m (50 mm), and the intuitive operation via joystick makes it an ideal hunting companion. The Wild 650D offers a 4x digital zoom and a 2x optical zoom, achieving a magnification range of 1.4x to 2.8x. Thus, no detail escapes you even at great distances. With moderate dimensions of 210x81x71 mm and a weight of approximately 647 g with battery, it is handy for any hunting at night and also during the day in dense foliage or in overcast and foggy weather.

The Sensor
The Wild 650D is equipped with a sensitive thermal imaging sensor with a resolution of 640x512 px, a pixel pitch of 12 µm, and a NETD value of ≤18 mK. This guarantees very good thermal differentiation performance. The frame rate is 50 Hz, providing clear, detailed, and high-contrast images. The detection range of the monocular is 1,300 m with the 25 mm lens. You have an enormous field of view of 30.7x24.6 m at 100 m. With the 50 mm lens, you have a large detection range of 2,600 m and a field of view of 15.4x12.3 m at 100 m. Switching between the lenses is easily done via a rotary knob.

The Display
The 1,024×768 px AMOLED display features the helpful picture-in-picture function. This shows you a zoomed image of the observation object in a frame when needed, without losing sight of the overall view. Depending on your individual needs and the observation situation, you can choose from 6 color palettes to adjust the image: white-hot, black-hot, red-hot, green, gold, and violet. Additionally, a target outline mode is available. Sharpness, noise, brightness, and contrast can be manually adjusted in 10 levels. An electronic image stabilization ensures steady observation, even if your hands tremble in cold weather or after exertion. Image correction can be done automatically and manually. A self-learning and adaptive AI technology optimizes the image correction algorithm with each image correction. The menu symbols can be disabled during video recording. As soon as disturbances from external light sources occur, the Wild 650D device automatically activates an anti-burn protection. You can choose between a forest mode and a target mode during use.

The Device
The Wild 650D is ready for operation in just 3 seconds after pressing the start button. It impresses with its excellent haptics. It fits well in the hand, which does not cramp even during prolonged use. The lens cover opens and closes completely silently. The joystick on the top makes it perfectly operable with both hands, providing immediate access to the most important controls and quick navigation to all functions. Difficult environmental conditions are no problem for observation; the device's housing is made of a magnesium alloy with rubber armor, and it is dust and waterproof according to IP67. The F0.9 lens of the Wild 650D significantly increases light intake compared to the usual F1.0 lenses.

Battery Life
The replaceable Li-ion 18635 battery allows for continuous operation of the Wild 650D thermal imaging device for up to 8 hours, depending on the activated features. The battery is easy to replace in no time. Charging is done in the included charger. A spare battery is included in the package.

Camera and Connectivity
With the integrated camera, you can document your observations and the tracking of game as photos and videos. The internal memory has a capacity of 64 GB. Using the ThermTec Outdoor App – available for iOS and Android – you can connect the thermal imaging device to your smartphone via the integrated hotspot. Denn das Wild 650 D hat für beide Szenarien je ein F0,9-Objektiv, eines mit 25 mm und eines mit 50 mm Durchmesser. Die Betriebsdauer
Der austauschbare Li-Ionen-18635-Akku ermöglicht einen Dauerbetrieb des Wild 650D-Wärmebildgeräts von bis zu 8 Stunden, abhängig von den aktvierten Features.
