Technically speaking, the sophisticated image processing software, with two quickly switchable image modes, provides a naturally appearing image with very high detail recognition. A 35 mm lens and a high-resolution 640 x 512 pixel 12 μm VOx sensor feed a high-contrast OLED display with a very wide brightness range. The interplay of these three components allows for comfortable observation from daylight to darkness.
Additionally, the thermal imaging device offers a viewing comfort that glasses wearers are usually only accustomed to from binoculars. Thanks to the adjustable eyecups, every user, whether wearing glasses or not, retains the full field of view from 22 m to 100 m, thus maintaining an overview at all times.
The handy device shape as well as the attachment of the hand strap allows for ambidextrous use of the Liemke KEILER-1. The visible and tactile mechanical switch is also safe to operate in the dark and always indicates the operational status. The button functions are assigned basic functions but can also be individually configured.
The readiness of the KEILER-1 can be significantly increased with an additionally purchasable rechargeable battery. The battery life is up to nine hours. A battery can either be charged within three hours in the device or with the help of the available charging device as an accessory.

Die Tastenfunktionen sind mit Basisfunktionen belegt, können aber auch individuell konfiguriert werden.
Die Einsatzbereitschaft des KEILER-1 kann durch einen zusätzlich erwerbbaren Wechselakku erheblich gesteigert werden. Die Akkulaufzeit beträgt bis zu neun Stunden. Ein Akku kann entweder innerhalb von drei Stunden im Gerät geladen werden oder mit Hilfe des als Zubehör erhältlichen Ladegerätes.
