The RWS HIT deformation projectile impresses on one hand with its high shock effect. The high shock effect is primarily due to the unique HIT matrix with the RWS TC-Tip and RWS ACC technology. These technologies lead to an astonishing energy release in the game through a reliable, fast, and uniform expansion.
On the other hand, the deformation projectile stands out due to its penetrating power. The lead-free projectile almost always achieves an exit wound, which is mainly due to the 99% residual weight, logically ensuring good penetration. Thus, bone hits or larger game pose no problem for the RWS HIT.
The RWS HIT has been specially designed in the Short Rifle version for shooting from shorter barrels.
