PERUN ETU++
The ETU++ from Perun is a replacement for the series electronics from G&G, additionally equipped with active brake, programming mode, diagnostic mode, and electronic fuse. The ETU++ comes pre-wired and with a T-plug. When installing with the corresponding trigger board for Arcturus, the wiring must be adjusted. Soldering skills and additional heat shrink tubing are required.
The ETU++ is programmed via the trigger and the fire selector lever. This is only possible if a functioning selector plate (uncut) is installed. It is NOT possible in the usual semi-only configurations without a selector plate - or with a cut selector plate. The trigger board (G&G ETU or Perun Switchset V2/V3) then only allows operation in normal mode, SEMI ONLY without programming.
For 0.5 Joule weapons, the following can be programmed:
- Alternative fire modes instead of full auto (e.g., burst)
- Active brake (Active Brake, AB)
- Pre-cocking of the gearbox
- Binary trigger (one shot when pulling and one shot when releasing the trigger)
- DMR mode (delay between shots)
- RoF reduction (fire rate adjustable)
- Warning for excessive battery discharge
- Diagnostic mode
- Switch testing mode
The device is equipped with an electronic fuse that is automatically activated in the event of a short circuit or a jammed gearbox. The fuse does not need to be replaced, as it resets itself and works again.
The manufacturer does not specify any restrictions regarding the rate of fire and performance of the system in which the ETU++ is installed. The voltage range of the battery should be between 7 and 17V.
The signal cables of the ETU++ are compatible with those of the G&G ETU.

Die ETU++ von Perun ist ein Ersatz für die Serien-Elektronik von G&G, zusätzlich ausgestattet mit aktive Break, Programmiermodus, Diagnosemodus und elektronischer Sicherung. Die ETU++ kommt vorverkabelt und mit T-Stecker. Beim Einbau mit dem dazu passenden Triggerboard für Arcturus, muss die Kabellage angepasst werden. Lötkenntnisse und zusätzlicher Schrumpfschlauch sind erforderlich.
Die ETU++ wird über den Trigger und den Feuerwahlhebel programmiert. Dies ist nur möglich, wenn eine funktionierende Selectorplate (unbeschnitten) verbaut ist. NICHT möglich ist es in den üblichen Semi-Only Konfigurationen ohne Selectorplate - oder mit beschnittener Selectorplate. Das Triggerboard (G&G ETU oder Perun Switchset V2/V3) erlaubt den Betrieb dann nur im normalen Modus, SEMI ONLY ohne Programmierung.
Bei 0,5 Joule Waffen kann folgendes programmiert werden:
- Alternative Feuermodi anstelle von Vollautomatik (z.B. Burst)
- Aktivbremse (Active Brake, AB)
- Vorspannen der Gearbox (Pre-Cocking)
- Binärer Abzug (ein Schuss nach dem Ziehen und ein Schuss nach dem Loslassen des Abzugs)
- DMR-Modus (Verzögerung zwischen den Schüssen)
- RoF Reduction (Feuerrate einstellbar)
- Warnung vor übermäßiger Batterieentladung
- Diagnosemodus
- Schalterprüfungsmodus
Das Gerät ist mit einer elektronischen Sicherung ausgestattet, die bei einem Kurzschluss oder einer verklemmten Gearbox automatisch aktiviert wird. Die Sicherung muss nicht ausgetauscht werden, da sie sich zurücksetzt und erneut funktioniert.
Der Hersteller gibt keine Einschränkungen bezüglich Feuerrate und Leistung des Systems an, in dem die ETU++ verbaut wird. Der Spannungsbereich des Akkus soll zwischen 7 und 17V liegen.
Die Signalkabel der ETU++ sind kompatibel zu denen der G&G ETU.
