This hunting cartridge with a high base wad of 20mm and a high load of 32g is a very good choice for all hunters who prefer a performance-optimized shotgun cartridge specifically for wild boar and red deer. The Rottweil EXACT shotgun slug ammunition is often significantly more precise than comparable cartridges from other manufacturers, as the aerodynamically adapted projectile has special properties that promise greater flight stability, projectile speed, and high penetration depth.
The shotgun slug cartridge is very powerful with a velocity of approx. 415 m/s; the optimal shooting distance and the best effect of this 12/70 "shotgun ammunition" is achieved at distances between 20 and 30 meters and beyond - up to approx. 50 meters, a clean shot can be taken without the need for a follow-up. Furthermore, this cartridge is equipped with a tin oxide ignition and is therefore very gentle on the barrel of the weapon.
