The large objective diameter, effective entrance pupil at medium magnifications, and excellent light transmission of around 92% ensure optimal performance from dawn until the last light of day.

With a high maximum magnification of 16x, it is also perfectly suited for sporting shots at long distances. The extremely high light transmission, combined with the outstanding Leica aperture system, provides more light under all conditions, especially at lower magnifications.
