Even the best rifle sling dangles uncontrollably from the weapon when it is not being carried. Auch der beste Gewehrgurt baumelt unkontrolliert an der Waffe, wenn man sie nicht gerade trägt. Das stört viele Jäger auf Hochsitz oder Kanzel im Waffenschrank beim Schießen, vor allem mit der Flinte und auf der Drückjagd Den herkömmlichen Knebel- oder Kurzzuggewehrgurt kann man nur manuell straffziehen, zudem hängt das ganze Gewicht der Waffe oft an einem schmalen Lederriemen.
