The knife is an extensively revised version of the knife by us. We take the original knife, disassemble it into its individual parts, and place it in a solvent for degreasing. After that, we lightly blast the knife so that an optimal surface for coating with Cerakote ceramic paint is created. Only when we have established this optimal foundation, allowing the properties of the paint to fully develop, do we proceed to the coating. Here, too, a lot must be considered. We work with the two-component paint from the manufacturer, which only allows certain processing times through the addition of hardener. The paint also requires oven drying, and once it has cured, it repels itself. Bei dem Messer handelt es sich um eine von uns aufwändig überarbeitete Version des Messer. Wir nehmen das Originalmesser, zerlegen dies in seine Einzelteile und legen es zur Entfettung in Lösungsmittel ein. Danach strahlen wir das Messer leicht an, so dass eine optimale Oberfläche zur Lackierung mit Cerakote Keramiklack entsteht. Erst wenn wir diese optimale Grundlage geschaffen haben, dass die Eigenschaften des Lacks sich voll entfalten können, gehen wir zur Lackierung über. Hier muss ebenfalls viel beachtet werden. Wir arbeiten dabei mit dem Zweikomponentenlack des Herstellers, welcher nur bestimmte Bearbeitungszeiten durch die Zugabe von Härter zulässt. Ebenfalls erfordert der Lack Ofentrocknung und ist er einmal ausgehärtet, weist er sich selbst ab.
