The Army Universal Rifle, also known as AUG, was developed in 1970 by STEYR for the Austrian Armed Forces. At that time, it was the most modern weapon on the market, distinguished by its bullpup design and quick barrel change. The STEYR AUG A3 SA (semi-auto) is the civilian version of the world-famous STEYR AUG, a semi-automatic gas-operated rifle with a fixed locking mechanism, QC (quick-change) barrel, and a Picatinny rail. The cold-hammered and hard-chromed barrel guarantees excellent shooting performance. The STEYR AUG A3 SA SE is a special edition of the AUG A3 SA. Instead of the upper Picatinny rail, there is a carrying handle with integrated optics, giving the AUG A3 its iconic silhouette. Der kaltgehämmerte und hart verchromte Lauf ist ein Garant für hervorragende Schussleistung. Das STEYR AUG A3 SA SE ist eine Spezialedition des AUG A3 SA.
