The 7x65 R is an excellent cartridge for distances beyond 200 meters. It can cover the entire range of use from roe deer to red deer very well. The cartridge was introduced in 1920 after the quick success of the 7x64. This rimmed cartridge is the equivalent of the 7x64 and is predestined for break-action rifles.
