Even in extreme conditions, the Inception binoculars impress, as the shock-resistant polycarbonate housing has been reinforced with fiberglass to ensure that a fall from 1.5 m height maintains the precise alignment of the optical elements. The binoculars are gas-tight sealed against rain or moisture. Additionally, they are filled with nitrogen to prevent internal fogging during temperature changes. The waterproofing is thus guaranteed up to a water depth of 1 m.
