The Birdiepal Octagon is at least as stable as the Birdiepal Outdoor – known as the world's most stable trekking umbrella – but at only about 300 grams, it is significantly lighter. The name comes from the newly developed 8-sided shaft made of fiberglass that withstands extreme loads.

A novel ultra-thin and extremely durable polyamide fabric with Teflon® treatment contributes to weight reduction. When opened, the "weather canopy" has a comfortable umbrella diameter of nearly 100 centimeters.

Der Birdiepal Octagon ist mindestens genauso stabil wir der Birdiepal Outdoor – bekannt als weltweit stabilster Trekkingschim – zugleich aber mit nur ca. 300 Gramm deutlich leichter. Den Namen verdankt der Schirm seinem neuentwickelten 8-Kant-Schaft aus Fiberglass der extremen Belastungen standhält.

Ein neuartiges hauchdünnes und äußerst strapazierfähiges Polyamid-Gewebe mit Tefon®-Behandlung trägt zur Gewichtsreduktion bei. Aufgespannt bringt das »Wetterdach« einen komfortablen Schirmdurchmesser von knapp 100 Zentimetern.
