The collar transmits its GPS location data wirelessly to the receiver device. The receiver device is connected to your own smartphone via Bluetooth. The complete operation is then done through the Dogtra Pathfinder app and your own smartphone.

The dog's position can be displayed on a map or via a compass display. Map sections can be downloaded for offline use.
In addition to the tracking function, the Dogtra Pathfinder is a fully functional Dogtra remote trainer.

Das Halsband sendet seine GPS-Ortungsdaten per Funk an das Empfängergerät. Das Empfängergerät wird per Bluetooth mit dem eigenen Smartphone verbunden. Die komplette Bedienung erfolgt dann über die Dogtra Pathfinder App und das eigene Smartphone.

Die Position des Hundes kann auf einer Karte oder über eine Kompassanzeige dargestellt werden. Kartenausschnitte können für die Offline-Nutzung heruntergeladen werden.
Neben der Ortungsfunktion ist der Dogtra Pathfinder ein vollwertiger Dogtra-Ferntrainer.
