The 9.3 x 62 was developed around the year 1905 and was intended for use specifically in the then German colonies in Africa. However, the cartridge was quickly used with great success on Central European big game, especially moose, red deer, and wild boar, so it did not remain a purely "Africa cartridge." The RWS loadings with bullet weights from 14.6 g to 19.0 g increase the versatility of this popular big game cartridge.UNI Classic BulletThe RWS UNI CLASSIC bullet was developed as a counterpart to the ID CLASSIC bullet specifically for hunting heavy game. Areas of application: From heavy hoofed game to large game. The harder and heavier rear core of the bullet tends to mushroom slightly less, which further increases its penetration effect. Die 9,3 x 62 ist um das Jahr 1905 entwickelt worden und sollte speziell in den damaligen deutschen Kolonien Afrikas zur Anwendung kommen. Jedoch wurde die Patrone schnell auf mitteleuropäisches Hochwild, vor allem Elch-, Rot- und Schwarzwild mit besten Erfolgen eingesetzt, so dass sie keine reine "Afrika-Patrone" blieb. Die RWS-Laborierungen mit Geschossgewichten von 14,6 g bis 19,0 g steigern die Universalität dieser beliebten Hochwildpatrone.UNI Classic- GeschossDas RWS UNI CLASSIC-Geschoss wurde als Pendant zum ID CLASSIC-Geschoss speziell für die Jagd auf schweres Wild entwickelt. Einsatzgebiete: Vom schweren Schalenwild bis hin zum Großwild. Der härtere und schwerere Heckkern des Geschosses neigt etwas weniger zum Aufpilzen, was seine Tiefenwirkung noch weiter erhöht.
