Here is a FEG Walam pistol model 48 from the year 1958. The weapon in .380 ACP is in like-new condition. The Hungarian replica of the German PP pistol is a true collector's rarity. The barrel profile is mirror-polished and sharp-edged. Manufactured by the Hungarian FEG works, the pistol is largely based on the ingenious design of the PP pistol. Originally designed and issued in caliber 7.65 mm for the Hungarian police and border protection. For a contract from Egypt, the pistol was also designed in 9mm short (.380 Auto) and produced under the model name Walam 48. For political reasons, the contract was only partially fulfilled. The majority of the remaining weapons from the Egypt contract in caliber 9mm, identifiable by the prefix E before the weapon number and the coat of arms of the Egyptian Kingdom on the slide, were then sold civilly to England. Pistols with E as a prefix and English proof marks were also resold to Germany, among other places. However, a small portion was also sold directly to Germany. These pistols do not bear the Egyptian coat of arms and have no prefix. The present pistol comes from this batch. Barrel length: approx. 7 cm. Dimensions: 17 X 12.5 cm. Weight: approx. 730 g.

Angeboten wird hier eine FEG Walam Pistole Modell 48 aus dem Jahre 1958. Die Waffe in .380 ACP befindet sich in einem neuwertigen Zustand. Der ungarische Nachbau der Deutschen PP Pistole ist ein echte Sammlerrarität. Laufprofil spiegelblank und scharfkantig. Von den ungarischen FEG Werken gefertigt ist die Pistole größtenteils an die geniale Konstruktion der PP Pistole angelehnt. Ursprünglich im Kaliber 7,65 mm für die Ungarische Polizei und den Grenzschutz konstruiert und ausgegeben. Für einen Kontrakt aus Ägypten wurde die Pistole auch in 9mm kurz (.380Auto) konstruiert und unter dem Modellnamen Walam 48 gefertigt. Aus politischen Gründen wurde der Kontrakt nur zu einem Teil erfüllt. Der Hauptteil der restlichen Waffen aus dem Ägypten Kontrakt im Kaliber 9mm, zu erkennen am Präfix E vor der Waffennummer und dem Wappen des Ägyptischen Königreichs auf dem Schlitten, wurde dann zivil nach England verkauft. Pistolen mit E als Präfix und Englischen Beschusszeichen wurden unter anderem dann auch nach Deutschland weiterverkauft. Ein kleiner Teil wurde aber auch direkt zivil nach Deutschland verkauft. Diese Pistolen tragen kein Ägyptisches Wappen und kein Präfix. Die vorliegende Pistole stammt daraus. Lauflänge: ca. 7 cm. Maße: 17 X 12,5 cm. Gewicht: ca. 730 g
