Bereits 1892 wurde von der Firma Mauser die 7 x 57 eingeführt. Der Nachfrage von Ordonanzgewehrbesitzern mit diesem Kaliber wird auch heute noch durch das GECO-Angebot entsprochen. Das Kaliber hat jagdlich wieder an Bedeutung zugenommen. Deshalb werden neben der Target-Line für präzises, kostengünstiges Schießvergnügen auch das 10,7 g schwere Teilmantel-Geschoss und das bleifreie GECO ZERO Geschoss mit einem Gewicht von 8,2 g angeboten.
