Sako has developed the new lead-free BLADE projectile to meet the needs of the most demanding lead-free hunters. One of the challenges in developing the projectile with alternative materials was the inadequate performance in both situations: no expansion for small game/long-range impacts or fragmentation on close/bone hits. With its blade tip made of 100% pure, ductile copper and the 5-stage terminal architecture, the SAKO Blade offers excellent performance at various shooting ranges and with different game species.
