The 6.5x55 is a quite fast cartridge with a flat trajectory. Its inherent accuracy is excellent and as a hunting cartridge, it is well suited for all medium-sized but also for weaker red and black game. With the 8.2 g heavy RWS pointed bullet or the 9.1 g heavy RWS double-core bullet, it becomes an all-round cartridge in hunting use. Ihre Eigenpräzision ist ausgezeichnet und als Jagdpatrone ist sie für alles mittelstarke aber auch für schwächeres Rot- und Schwarzwild bestens geeignet.
