Die Schreckschusspistole Made in Germany verschießt Gas- und Pfeffermunition sowie Platzpatronen. Somit eignet sie sich gut für den Selbstschutz. Trotz ihrer geringen Größe ist sie sehr effektiv – dank des starken Kalibers. Das zeigt die RG88 auch an Silvester, wenn sie genormte Pyromunition in 15 Millimeter mit dem passenden Abschussbecher hoch in den Himmel schießt – ein echtes Highlight. Es handelt sich um ein Sondermodell, welches limitiert war. Die Waffen haben auf dem Schlittenam am Laufende kleine Produktionsfehler.
