The Haenel CR 223 is a semi-automatic rifle in caliber .223 Rem. for sports shooters. The designation CR stands for Competition Rifle and targets the civilian market; a confirmation notice from the Federal Criminal Police Office is available. A specially designed Suhl match trigger is optionally available for all CR 223. The trigger unit has been machined from solid material and refined to achieve an optimal trigger characteristic with a trigger weight of around 1,500 grams. Die Haenel CR 223 ist ein halbautomatisches Gewehr im Kaliber .223 Rem. für Sportschützen. Die Bezeichnung CR steht für Competition Rifle und zielt auf den Zivilmarkt ab; ein Feststellungsbescheid des Bundeskriminalamtes liegt vor. Ein speziell ausgearbeiteter Suhler Matchabzug ist für alle CR 223 optional erhältlich. Dabei wurde die Abzugseinheit aus dem Vollen gefräst und überarbeitet, um bei einem Abzugsgewicht von rund 1.500 Gramm eine optimale Abzugscharakteristik zu erhalten. Der Matchabzug ist voll kompatibel mit anderen AR-Systemen und kann so auch als Tuningteil verwendet werden.
