The 7x64, introduced in 1917, is the most commonly used hunting rifle cartridge in Central Europe. It was developed from the 7x57, which was already introduced in 1892. It is suitable for all types of game. With the 10.7 g heavy GECO partial jacket bullet, as well as the 10.0 g GECO Express and the 11.0 g GECO Plus, it becomes an all-round cartridge for hunting use in Central Europe. In 2015, GECO introduced the lead-free bullet GECO ZERO with 8.2 g in this caliber. The GECO Target bullet is suitable for hunting practice shooting. Die 1917 vorgestellte 7x64 ist die meistgeführte jagdliche Büchsenpatrone im mitteleuropäischen Raum. Sie wurde aus der bereits 1892 eingeführten 7x57 entwickelt. Sie eignet sich für jegliches Schalenwild. Mit dem 10,7 g schweren GECO Teilmantel-Geschoss, sowie dem 10,0 g GECO Express und dem 11,0 g GECO Plus wird sie im jaglichen Einsatz in Mitteleuropa zur Allroundpatrone. 2015 führte GECO das bleifreie Geschoss GECO ZERO mit 8,2 g in diesem Kaliber ein. Für das jagdliche Übungsschießen eignet sich das GECO Target-Geschoss.
