The 9.3x62 was developed around the year 1905 and has since been a popular caliber for hunting Central European big game, especially moose, red deer, and wild boar. Furthermore, this caliber is very popular for driven hunts. The GECO loadings with a bullet weight of 16.5 g are ideally suited for this form of hunting. The lead-free bullet GECO ZERO is available in a lighter loading with a weight of 11.9 g. Die 9,3x62 ist um das Jahr 1905 entwickelt worden und ist bis dato ein beliebtes Kaliber bei der Jagd auf mitteleuropäisches Hochwild, v.a. Elch-, Rot- und Schwarzwild. Des Weiteren ist dieses Kaliber bei der Drückjagd sehr beliebt. Die GECO-Laborierungen mit einem Geschossgewicht von 16,5 g eigenen sich optimal für diese Form der Jagd. Das bleifreie Geschoss GECO ZERO gibt es in einer leichteren Laborierung mit einem Gewicht von 11,9 g.
