Scouting Cams also assist property owners in object protection and guard against theft, vandalism, or littering. Whether it’s stray wildlife or a sneaky burglar, all activities can be captured in videos and photos by the Scouting Cam Black800 5K from BRAUN Photo Technik, even in 5K resolution.
The recordings can be stored on a microSD memory card with a maximum capacity of 512GB. Additionally, the wildlife camera also features a USB-C slot for connection to PC and TV.
The exact resolution of photos and videos can be set, along with numerous other parameters, via the integrated 2.0“ TFT color display. The recordings can also be conveniently viewed and checked on the color display. Here, the video resolution can vary from 5K or 4K, 2.7K, and 1080p at 30fps up to 1080p at 120fps, which even allows for slow-motion recordings.
Users can also individually select the image resolution between 48 and 5MP. The Braun Scouting Cam Black800 5K features three different sensitivities of the PIR motion sensor with a detection angle of 90 degrees, a trigger distance of up to 20 meters, and a trigger time of about 0.6 seconds. Additionally, the Black800 5K has an integrated microphone, a speaker, password protection, a time-lapse mode, as well as information on date, time, moon phase, and temperature. With the continuous recording function, the camera can continue recording even when the memory card is full by overwriting the oldest files. The continuous recording function can be disabled. Thanks to a mounting strap or the practical holder included in the package, the robust and weatherproof (IP66) wildlife camera can be easily attached to the desired location. The operating temperatures range from -20°C to +60°C. The standby time is about twelve months. The power supply is provided by six AA batteries or optionally via a 9V 1A power supply.

Die Aufnahmen können auf einer microSD-Speicherkarte mit bis max. 512GB gespeichert werden. Darüber hinaus verfügt die Wildkamera auch über einen USB-C Slot zum Anschluss an PC und TV.
Die genaue Auflösung der Fotos und Videos kann wie zahlreiche weitere Parameter über das integrierte 2,0“ TFT-Farbdisplay eingestellt werden. Auch die Aufnahmen können bequem über das farbige Display angeschaut und kontrolliert werden. Hier kann auch die Videoauflösung von 5K bzw. 4K, 2.7K und 1080p bei 30fps bis zu 1080p bei 120fps variieren, was sogar Slow-Motion-Aufnahmen ermöglicht.
Die Bildauflösung können Anwender ebenfalls individuell zwischen 48 bis 5MP auswählen. Dabei besitzt die Braun Scouting Cam Black800 5K drei verschiedene Empfindlichkeiten des PIR-Bewegungssensors mit einem Erfassungswinkel von 90 Grad, einer Auslösedistanz von bis zu 20 Metern und einer Auslösezeit von etwa 0,6 Sekunden. Zudem besitzt die Black800 5K ein integriertes Mikrofon, einen Lautsprecher, einen Kennwortschutz, einen Zeitraffermodus, sowie eine Angabe von Datum, Zeit, Mondphase und Temperatur. Mit Hilfe der Daueraufnahmefunktion kann die Kamera selbst bei voller Speicherkarte weiter aufnehmen, indem sie die ältesten Dateien überschreibt. Die Daueraufnahmefunktion kann deaktiviert werden. Dank eines Montagegurtes oder mit der im Lieferumfang enthaltenen praktischen Halterung lässt sich die robuste und strahlwassergeschützte (IP66) Wildkamera mühelos am gewünschten Ort befestigen. Die Einsatztemperaturen reichen von -20°C bis +60°C. Die Standby-Zeit beträgt rund zwölf Monate. Die Stromversorgung erfolgt durch sechs AA-Batterien oder optional über ein 9V 1A Netzteil.
