Offered is an heirloom in excellent original condition and with the best shooting performance, without rust and with perfect function of the bolt and trigger.
The barrel still has the original bluing inside and probably needs an intensive cleaning of resinous preservation grease.
The unrestored weapon has a beautifully grained stock without any cracks or chips.
On the buttstock, there is a large and intricately cut checkering, while the fore-end is smooth.
The original color hardening of the trigger guard and metal parts is largely well preserved.
The firearm was made by gunsmith Max Bieber in Kronach.
The "drops" visible in the pictures on the stock are resinous oil, as is the patina on the action housing.
On the left side of the barrel at the muzzle, there are several rust spots on a surface of the octagon, see picture.
Otherwise, there are no further rust spots on the weapon!

Der Lauf trägt innen noch die Originalbrünierung und benötigt wahrscheinlich eine intensive Reinigung von verharztem Konservierungsfett.
Die unrestaurierte Waffe hat einen prächtig gemaserten Schaft ohne jegliche Risse oder Ausbrüche.
Am Hinterschaft befindet sich eine großflächige und aufwendig geschnittene Fischhaut, der Vorderschaft ist glatt.
Die ursprüngliche Bunthärtung von Abzugsbügel und Beschlagteilen ist in großen Teilen gut erhalten.
Hergestellt wurde der Feuerstutzen vom Büchsenmacher Max Bieber in Kronach.
Die auf den Bildern sichtbaren „Tropfen“ auf dem Schaft sind verharztes Öl, ebenso die Patina auf dem Systemgehäuse.
Auf der linken Seite des Laufes an der Mündung befinden sich auf einer Fläche des Achtkantes mehrere Rostnärbchen, siehe Bild.
Ansonsten gibt es an der Waffe keine weiteren Roststellen!
