This airsoft replica from Ares Airsoft is a 1/1 replica of the German standard carbine 98K, as used by the Wehrmacht in World War II. The airsoft rifle has been beautifully and particularly high-quality manufactured in caliber 6mm BB. Especially this version marks the highlight of Ares Airsoft's weapon reproductions - with up to 95% made of stainless steel of grade 304 in QPQ finish, the mounted parts bring the already very high-quality rifle in the standard version even closer to the original. In addition to the steel version, this edition is also equipped with the already known Ares scope 39 replica. The mounts are already factory-installed - so only the scope needs to be inserted. The rifle is rounded off by the particularly beautiful stock made of real beech wood, which is truly a feast for the eyes. To safely store the collector's rifle, it is delivered in a practical and visually matching gun case - see product photos. As a shooting mechanism, Ares also relies on the proven bolt-action spring pressure shooting system for this airsoft replica.
As already mentioned in the designation, this Ares Airsoft Mauser 98K replica is the high-quality steel variant. In contrast to the standard model, Ares Airsoft uses 95% stainless steel for the production of this variant. The material in grade 304 is subsequently provided with the QPC finish. This gives the material significantly improved corrosion resistance as well as the black surface finish known from sharp stainless steel weapons. Thanks to the material, the airsoft replica in the steel version appears even more authentic and weighs about 3.9 kg without the scope 39 (but with mount) (original Kar. 98K unloaded about 3.7 kg). In addition to stainless steel, Ares Airsoft also uses steel or sheet metal for the production of the fittings and housing parts. Overall positive properties that make the Ares Airsoft carbine 98K in the steel version very robust and at the same time authentic. Other fine details include the year of manufacture, which is indicated under the scope mount with "1939," and the many components with numbering. All markings (except for the F-mark approval information) are, of course, engraved cleanly and deeply into the material, as is appropriate for a high-quality rifle. To further enhance the authentic feel, this version of the 98K also comes with the particularly beautiful Ares Airsoft real wood stock. In addition to the beautiful grain due to the real beech wood, the color of the stock has also been perfectly chosen by Ares Airsoft. Hier eine Mauser 98K aus Vollmetall mit wunderschönem Echtholzschaft. Dieses Gewehr wurde am 28.04.2023 bei Frankonia neu gekauft. Es wurde trocken und sauber gelagert und befand sich noch ungeöffnet im Versandpaket. Diese 98K wurde zur Kontrolle ausgepackt, geprüft und getestet. Sie befindet sich wieder ordentlich verpackt in der zugehörigen originalen Waffenkiste. Es ist alles komplett vorhanden und funktioniert. Kenner wissen das es sich bei dieser K98 Replika von Ares um ein ganz besonders Stück handelt. Allerdings ist diese Ausführung momentan nirgendwo lieferbar. Bei dieser Airsoftreplika von Ares Airsoft handelt es sich um einen 1/1 Nachbau des deutschen Standard Karabiner 98K, wie er im 2. Weltkrieg von der Wehrmacht eingesetzt wurde. Das Airsoftgewehr wurde sehr schön und besonders hochwertig im Kaliber 6mm BB nachgefertigt. Vor allem diese Ausführung markiert das Highlight der Ares Airsoft Waffennachfertigungen - mit bis zu 95% gefertigt aus Edelstahl der Güteklasse 304 im QPQ-Finish bringen die montierten Teile das bereits in der Standard Ausführung sehr hochwertige Gewehr noch näher an das Original. Zusätzlich zur Stahl-Version ist diese Edition weiterhin mit dem bereits bekannten Ares Zielfernrohr 39 Nachbau ausgestattet. Die Montagen sind bereits ab Werk angebracht - somit muss lediglich noch das ZF eingesetzt werden. Abgerundet wird das Gewehr durch den besonders schönen Schaft aus echtem Buchenholz, der wirklich eine Augenweide ist. Um das Sammlergewehr sicher verstauen zu können, wird das Gewehr in einer praktischen und optisch passenden Waffenkiste ausgeliefert - siehe Produktfotos. Als Schussmechanismus setzt Ares auch bei dieser Airsoftreplika auf das bewährte Bolt-Action Federdruck-Schussystem.
Wie bereits in der Bezeichnung genannt, handelt es sich bei diesem Ares Airsoft Mauser 98K Nachbau um die hochwertige Stahl Variante. Im Gegensatz zum Standard Modell setzt Ares Airsoft bei dieser Variante bei der Fertigung auf 95% Edelstahl. Das Material in der Güteklasse 304 wird im Anschluss mit dem QPC-Finish versehen. Dabei erhält das Material eine stark verbesserte Korrionsbeständigkeit sowie das schwarze Oberflächenfinish, wie es von scharfen Edelstahl-Waffen bekannt ist. Dank des Materials wirkt die Airsoftreplika in der Stahl-Version noch authentischer und bringt bereits ohne Zielfernrohr 39 (aber mit Montage) ein Gewicht von ca. 3,9 kg auf die Waage (Original Kar. 98K ungeladen ca. 3,7 kg). Neben Edelstahl verwendet Ares Airsoft bei der Produktion der Beschlag- und Gehäuseteile auch Stahl bzw. Stahlblech. Durchweg positive Eigenschaften, die den Ares Airsoft Karabiner 98K in der Stahl Version sehr robust und zugleich authentisch machen. Weitere feine Details sind das Herstellungsjahr, welches unter der Zielfernrohrhalterung mit "1939" angegeben ist und die vielen Bauteile mit Nummerierung. Alle Markierungen (bis auf die F-Kennzeichen Zulassungsangaben) sind natürlich, wie es sich für ein hochwertiges Gewehr gehört, sauber und tief in das Material eingraviert. Um das originalgetreue Gefühl weiter zu verstärken, kommt auch diese Ausführung des 98K mit dem besonders schönen Ares Airsoft Echtholzschaft. Neben der schönen Maserung aufgrund des echten Buchenholzes, wurde auch die Farbgebung des Schaftes von Ares Airsoft perfekt gewählt. In Verbindung mit dem verwendeten Material und den Details sorgt die Stahl Version für noch mehr Nähe zum scharfen Vorbild und lässt sich dadurch vom Original eigentlich nicht mehr unterscheiden. Kurz gesagt, es handelt sich bei diesem Nachbau des Karabiner 98K wohl um die optisch schönste Airsoftreplika, die derzeit am Markt erhältlich ist. Vor allem Sammler kommen nur sehr schwer an diesem Airsoftnachbau vorbei.
