Decent antique no LICENCE required Commissions rifle Gewehr 88 in 7.92x57 made in Spandau arsenal in 1893. Rifle also comes with three en-block clips. One is original. Rifle is mismatched as usual. It comes with the original cleaning rod and complete bolt head! Sling is a reproduction with original metal hardware. Walnut stock has lot of gouges and possibly South American engravings of some sort. Front band has a cool German regimental stamping. Screw heads are pretty decent and not too much damaged. Barrel shroud has some dings as expected. Good part is that the rear sight has a slider which is typically missing on these. Bore looks decent for these Gewehr 88s’ with muzzle not perfect but also pretty decent.
