Here I offer an old DDR AKM rear trunnion that is still fully machined.

(Not cast steel like later models)

The remnants of the old rivets are still in the rear trunnion, but they can be easily drilled out. There is still a notch on the right side, which can be easily smoothed with a type 3 metal file.

Otherwise, the rear trunnion is in good condition.

Biete hier einen alten DDR AKM Reartrunnion der noch vollständig gefräst ist.

(Kein Stahlguss wie bei späteren Fabrikaten)

Die Reste der alten Nieten stecken noch im Reartrunnion, diese lassen sich jedoch leicht ausbohren. Es gibt noch eine Kerbe an der rechten Seite, welche sich sehr einfach mit einer Hieb 3 Metallfeile glätten lässt.

Ansonsten ist der Reartrunnion in gutem Zustand.
