Sie wurde erstmals im Jahr 1921 produziert und war für den zivilen und polizeilichen Gebrauch konzipiert. Die Pistole verfügte über ein 6-Schuss-Magazin . Sie hatte eine Lauflänge von 51 mm und ein Gesamtgewicht von etwa 260 Gramm. Während des Zweiten Weltkriegs wurde die Modell 9 von deutschen Soldaten, aber auch von der Polizei und anderen Strafverfolgungsbehörden eingesetzt.Die Sammlerpistole ist aufgrund ihrer historischen Bedeutung und ihrer Seltenheit bei Sammlern sehr beliebt.
