The Silky Katanaboy 550-5 is a foldable handsaw with an impressive 550 mm blade length. It is therefore also suitable for cutting through thicker branches up to about 30 cm. The robust blade is made of Japanese premium steel and withstands demanding tasks thanks to a blade thickness of 1.8 mm. With a very coarse tooth spacing of 6 mm, the Katanaboy saws extremely aggressively and works its way through hard and dry wood thanks to its extremely sharp teeth. This makes this folding saw particularly interesting for outdoor use. The locking mechanism of the Silky Katanaboy 550-5 is equipped with a safety screw that prevents accidental folding and unfolding. An additional locking position protects the fingers when folding. The long, rubberized handle of the saw is extremely non-slip, ensuring optimal grip even in wet conditions. Delivery includes a transport bag with an adjustable strap.
Die Silky Katanaboy 550-5 ist eine klappbare Handsäge mit beeindruckenden 550 mm Sägeblattlänge. Sie eignet sich daher auch zum Durchtrennen von dickeren Ästen bis ca. 30 cm. Das robuste Sägeblatt ist aus japanischem Premium-Stahl gefertigt und hält dank einer Blattstärke von 1,8 mm auch anspruchsvollen Aufgaben stand. Mit einer sehr groben Zahnweite von 6 mm sägt die Katanaboy äußerst aggressiv und arbeitet sich dank extrem scharfer Sägezähne auch durch hartes und trockenes Holz. Dies macht diese Klappsäge besonders für Outdoor-Einsätze interessant. Die Arretierung der Silky Katanaboy 550-5 ist mit einer Sicherungsschraube versehen, die ein versehentliches Aus- und Einklappen verhindert. Eine zusätzliche Raststellung schützt die Finger beim Einklappen. Der lange, gummierte Griff der Säge ist äußerst rutschfest und sorgt damit auch bei Nässe für optimalen Halt.
