The Stihl brushcutter FS 491 C-EM is a very powerful, comfortable, durable, and robust brushcutter with 2.4 kW. It is equipped for easy starting with Ergostart. The electronic engine management M-Tronic 3.0 ensures optimal utilization of engine power. An effective anti-vibration system improves user comfort. With a cutting circle diameter of 520 mm, this brushcutter is ideal for demanding area work in tough grass and for sowing applications in forestry. The Stihl 2-Mix engine of the Stihl FS 491 C-EM has high power reserves in all operating conditions and when using different cutting tools.

A large fuel tank and a long-lasting air filter enable long operating times without interruption. The proven anti-vibration system, in conjunction with the mowing arm and simple handling, provides high working comfort. Operation is via the Advance-Grip handle, which allows for particularly favorable handling with various grip positions. The handle sections are made of hard and soft materials and feature a thumb rest, which helps prevent early fatigue of the hands.
