Technology for precise aiming The sight uses a red LED light source that is completely eye-safe and contains no radioactive materials. Various dot size options are available: 4 MOA, 8 MOA, or the versatile Multi-Reticle with 8 MOA, 2 MOA & Ring, 8 MOA & Ring, and 2 MOA. This flexibility allows for customization to individual needs. Clear optics without magnification The reflex sight is parallax-free and provides a clear view without magnification. The lenses are coated with an anti-reflective coating that minimizes the visible signature and ensures optimal visibility. The acrylic internal reflection lens guarantees excellent image quality. To prevent fogging of the lenses inside, the AMS is filled with nitrogen. Durable electronics and adaptability The sight is powered by a 3V lithium battery, available in various types (CR2025, 2032, or 2050). The battery life of a CR2032 is about one year with average use, and up to three years when used with night vision. Brightness can be adjusted either automatically in three levels or manually in twelve levels to always find the perfect setting for any situation. Robust design for extreme conditions Made from anodized aerospace-grade aluminum (6082 TB), the housing of the sight is finished in matte black. Weighing only 34 grams (without battery) and with compact dimensions, it is lightweight yet extremely durable. The Shield Red Dot Sight AMS has an operating temperature of -46 °C to +49 °C. It is resistant to heavy rain, fog, and salt spray and can be submerged in water up to 20 meters deep for 30 minutes. Even a drop test onto concrete from a height of 1.25 meters at -46 °C poses no problem. Versatile mounting options Thanks to the Shield Standard Footprint, the sight is compatible with a wide range of mounting interfaces, allowing it to be easily installed on various firearms.
