What sets this thermal imaging camera apart is its extremely compact design and excellent build quality. Additionally, the Pro version is equipped with a particularly sensitive detector that can capture even the smallest thermal sources.
The NETD value is below 20 microkelvin, allowing for the detection of the finest temperature differences of a heat source. This could be, for example, a tree crown or the bones of a game animal, making it particularly easy for the observer to determine what kind of heat source it is.
The device is made of a high-quality magnesium alloy, which is not only extremely robust but also lightweight, as the material optimally dissipates the heat generated by the electronic components.
The detector has a resolution of 384 x 288 pixels and displays the image or video on a modern AMOLED screen, which can represent colors particularly vividly and brightly. The LEDs are also known for their excellent black level.
The 30-millimeter lens allows for a field of view of over 23 meters at a distance of 100 meters, with a detection range of about 850 meters. Thus, the Axion XQ30 Pro is suitable for observations at close range and medium distances.
There are eight different color modes to choose from, allowing heat sources to be displayed in the best way depending on the situation, ambient temperature, and vegetation. The color palette ranges from White-Hot, Black-Hot, Red-Hot, Rainbow, Ultramarine, Red Monochrome, Sepia to Violet.
The Wi-Fi module operates in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency ranges to ensure optimal range and stable data transmission. In addition to connecting to smartphones and tablets, updates are also performed via Wi-Fi. The video recorder is equipped with a 16 GB memory to record photos and videos.
Power is supplied by a battery exchange system with the APS3 battery, which has a runtime of about 8 hours.

Der Pulsar Axion XQ30 Pro ist ein kompaktes, thermisches Handgerät zur Wärmebildaufnahme, das besonders für Jagd, Naturbeobachtung und Sicherheitsanwendungen entwickelt wurde. Es kombiniert eine hohe Leistung mit benutzerfreundlichen Funktionen.

Das Besondere an der Wärmebildkamera ist vor allem die äußert kompakte Ausführung, sowie die hervorragende Verarbeitungsqualität. Zudem ist die Pro Version mit einem besonders sensitiven Detektor ausgestattet, der selbst kleinste Wärmebildquellen erfassen kann.
Der NETD Wert liegt bei unter 20 Mikrokelvin, dadurch können feinste Temperaturunterschiede einer Wärmequelle detektiert werden. Das könnte beispielsweise eine Baumkrone oder die Gebeine eines Wildes sein, dem Beobachter fällt es dadurch besonders leicht zu bestimmen, um was es für eine Wärmequelle es sich handelt.
Das Gerät besteht aus einer hochwertigen Magnesiumlegierung, diese ist nicht nur äußerst robust und leicht zugleich, denn das Material führt die entstehende Wärme der Elektronikkomponenten optimal nach außen ab.
Der Detektor löst mit 384 x 288 Pixel auf und spielt das Bild bzw. Video auf einem modernen AMOLED-Bildschirm aus, der Farben besonders kräftig und leuchtstark darstellen kann. Die LEDs sind zudem für einen hervorragenden Schwarzwert bekannt.
Das 30 Millimeter starke Objektiv ermöglicht eine Sehfeldbreite von über 23 Metern auf einem 100 Meter langen Feld, die Detektionsreichweite beträgt dabei etwa 850 Meter. Somit eignet sich das Axion XQ30 Pro für Beobachtungen im Nahbereich und mittlerer Entfernung.
Es stehen acht verschiedene Farbmodis zur Auswahl, damit können Wärmequellen je nach Situation, Umgebungstemperatur und Vegetation am besten dargestellt werden. Die Farbpalette reicht von Weiß-Heiß, Schwarz-Heiß, Rot-Heiß, Regenbogen, Ultramarin, Rot Monochrom, Sepia bis hin zu Violett.
Das Wi-Fi Modul funkt im 2,4 GHz und im 5 GHz Frequenzbereich, um eine optimale Reichweite und stabile Datenübertragung zu ermöglichen. Neben der Anbindung an Smartphones und Tablets werden auch Updates über W-Fi ausgeführt. Der Videorekorder ist mit einem 16 GB großen Speicher ausgestattet, um Fotos und Videos aufzeichnen zu können.
Die Stromversorgung erfolgt durch ein Akku-Wechselsystem mit dem APS3 Akku, dieser hat eine Laufzeit von etwa 8 Stunden.
