offered here is a Winchester Carbine, Indian Head engraved by Hege Uberti in caliber .44-40 or .44 WCF. The weapon was specially modified for CAS several years ago and comes from my personal collection, having also been used by me in several competitions in the 1880 NC category. This 66 model cycles extremely smoothly and was therefore typically fired with hand-loaded ammunition using Federal primers. There is no trigger safety here, although the trigger is intentionally positioned very far back. Additionally, instead of the original front sight, a so-called Rubber Sight and a Buckhorn rear sight were installed for quick and optimal target acquisition. Furthermore, the obligatory Underlever Wrap and Butt Stock Cover from Kirkpatrick Leather Company are included. The weapon has been regularly maintained until the end, and parts have been replaced as needed. The person who did this is an absolute expert in this field, although no longer officially active. For personal reasons, I do not wish to name them here.

angeboten wird hier eine Winchester Carbine, Indian Head graviert von Hege Uberti im Kaliber .44-40 bzw. .44 WCF. Die Waffe wurde vor etlichen Jahren speziell für das CAS überarbeitet und stammt aus meinem persönlichen Besitz und war auch auf einigen Wettkämpfen von mir in der Kategorie 1880 NC im Einsatz. Diese 66-iger repetiert extrem leichtgängigund wurde deshalb wie üblich mit selbsgeladener Munition mit Zündern von Federal geschossen. Eine Abzugssicherung gibt es hier nicht, wobei der Abzug mit Absicht sehr weit hinten steht. Verbaut wurden zudem anstelle des Original Korns ein sog. Rubber Sight und eine Buckhorn Kimme zur schnellen und optimalen Zielerfassung. Des weiteren der obligatorische Underlever Wrap und Butt Stock Cover von Kirkpatrick Leather Company. Die Waffe wurde bis zum Schluss regelmäßig gewartet und im Bedarfsfall auch mal ein Teil ausgetaucht. Derjenige der das gemacht ist ein absoluter Fachmann auf diesem Gebiet, wenn auch nicht mehr offiziell tätig. Aus persönlichen Gründen möchte ich den Namen hier nicht nennen.
